What makes your program different?

Our program is whole and complete, with no missing parts. First, we empower you with the foundational education to comprehend what, how, and why you are taking up the offer to build a successful system for self-governance and asset protection. This program is designed to be more accessible and to support you in becoming masterful. We know through personal experience that this can be heavy technical terrain, lawful, comprehensive, and time-intensive. This program has been refined for the Australian market with a balanced approach of lawful depth and simplicity, ensuring that people can succeed and step into doing business with skill and confidence. We take a whole-package approach because we want more men and women to experience the success of doing empowering and everyday business this way.  You will learn about the different options offered in commerce to suit your goals and values.

What if I’ve done similar work with someone else?

Each group approaches this work a little differently. These bodies of work are designed to achieve different outcomes, and there is often more than one way to reach a desired result.

There may be important questions such as:  Are you confident in what you’ve learned?  Are you operating successfully?  Do you feel supported?  Are you happy with what you’ve built?  And are you able to apply it in real life applications?  Are there any gaps in your structure?  As with many areas of life, there is always more to deepen, refine, and align, so that what you build truly fits your goals, your business needs, and your estate.

Everything in commerce can be refined, adjusted, and improved over time as your understanding grows.  This program may simply be the next step in your learning journey. Nothing you’ve done up to this point is wasted, it all contributes to your knowledge, your toolkit, a more complete and considered structure, with more perfected use. The educational component of this course alone offers significant and lasting value.

What if I don’t want to “run a business”? How does the course apply to me?

Firstly, this is about education. The course provides the vital foundational understanding needed to comprehend how property, control, and risk actually work in practice. Many people want to protect assets but lack the underlying knowledge, which leads to oversimplified “can I or can’t I do this or that” thinking. In reality, these areas are nuanced, and without the vital education, even the right structure is unlikely to be used effectively.  Secondly, running a trust is, in itself, is a business. Even if you never apply a private member structure outwardly, you are still operating as a trustee — managing assets, responsibilities, and decisions. The key insight is that property is not just legal title; it also includes control and equity. Even where legal title remains unchanged, the equity still requires protection, and trust structures (supported by appropriate agreements) provide a lawful way to manage and safeguard those interests.

Who is on the Lumen Team?

The Lumen Team is championed by the Lead Australian Trainer and the Global Founder, alongside Australian and international graduates. These are men and women who devote their lives to this work and its success — a collective who have done the work and now operate this way through estate administration and altruistic business. You will come to know the team more closely once you are inside the program.

Do I get 1:1 support?

We offer all students access to 1:1 calls. This allows you to ask personal and confidential questions and to map out the business structure you wish to build. You will have access to a range of highly skilled Australian and global coaches and mentors. Whether you are just starting out or already have some experience and want refinement, the support is there to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

How do you handle private and confidential information?

We lead by example and take confidentiality and privacy seriously. This begins with a comprehensive onboarding process where you are required to complete documents such as our Charter, Membership Deed, Code of Conduct, and Terms and Conditions. You will be immersed in operational private membership organisations.  As a student you are learning through how we engage professionally with you. We operate on a reciprocal standard of professionalism to protect the integrity of the community, the body of work, and its members. The program is hosted within the Living Free Movement private community platform.

How is the content delivered? I don’t know if I can do it.

Course content is delivered in a range of ways to support different learning styles. You will engage with written material, printable documents, videos, visual maps, and integration tasks. A step-by-step student checklist guides you through the process so you can move one task at a time. For those who need additional support, extra 1:1 sessions are available to help you stay on track, ensuring no one is left behind.

Who is Lumen?

At Lumen, we are building a community of individuals stepping into self-governance with awareness and responsibility. This work requires collaboration, learning, and shared experience. Since 2020, self-governance has become a more common path for people seeking to take greater responsibility for their affairs, estates, and business activities. This body of work reflects this shift, bringing together people who are learning, building, and applying these principles in real ways.

How long is the course?

Most students complete the program within six months. Some complete it in as little as three months, while others may take up to twelve months. Membership is provided for twelve months to allow sufficient time to complete the full course. As you progress, you will build your own personalised business and document suite, creating a structured resource you can refer back to and use with confidence.

What if I really want to do it, but don’t have the time?

Our team has limited capacity to support the completion of document suites for those who need additional assistance. There may be an upgrade option available for this level of support, depending on availability. You can speak with the team administrator to explore current options. Regardless of the pathway, all students are required to complete the education components, so they understand how to operate their structures once established. We strongly encourage full participation in the learning process, as this is where the greatest long-term value is gained.

What if I have more family members and want a discount for them?

Once one member of a family has completed the program, we offer a substantial subsidy for additional family members. This allows families to share the course learning while obtaining additional document suites as needed.

Does everyone in the household need their own documents?

Yes, each man and woman who wishes to establish their position, manage their affairs, and build their own structure will require their own set of documents. This reflects the personal nature of administration and responsibility. The program is available to individuals over the age of majority (18). Many families choose to have one member complete the program first, then support others through the process over time. This often becomes an exciting learning experience to flourish as a family. Sharing current responsibilities and succession planning, where knowledge and understanding are built collectively over time.

What happens once I have completed the foundation course?

Upon completing the foundation course, you will have the knowledge and structure to administer your affairs, operate privately where appropriate, and understand how to interact with broader systems. This course also provides a pathway into further areas of learning, such as wills, trust structures, and related frameworks. Graduates are invited to join the Lumen Stewardship Community Directory to remain connected and continue developing their work.

How do I know if this program is really right for me before I sign up?

We offer a 15-minute call so you can ask questions and determine whether the program aligns with your needs. Entering this work is both an investment and a shift in how you approach your affairs and business activities. For some, it remains a structured and supportive approach to administration; for others, it becomes a more active pathway into business. If you are seeking clarity, structure, and a deeper understanding of how to organise your affairs, this program provides a comprehensive and practical learning environment.

“Many have been shaken to the core in recent times, and are now feeling the call to rise, to reclaim, and to step into greater responsibility for their affairs. Many, wanting a new path forward for their family. There comes a point where understanding is no longer enough, you must step forward, take responsibility, and build the structure that reflects it. No one is coming to organise your affairs for you, that responsibility, and that power, has always been yours. Self-governance is not claimed in words, but demonstrated in how you organise your affairs, honour your obligations, and carry responsibility in full. This is what our community stands for — and in doing this important work, you arenot alone; we walk it together, with support, shared learning, and a commitment to doing it well”. Lumen.
